Popularity versus Quality

Ai-Ai Delas Alas: Sumasarap, mas nakakagana ang pagkain pag binudburan ng MAGIC SARAP!

Kris Aquino: Siksik kaya sulit- NIDO!

Anne Curtis: Like a touch from the rose - PALMOLIVE SOAP!

Angelica Panganiban: When you're hair bounces that, so do you? - PANTENE!

Sam Pinto: Keeping it slim, keeping it healthy - FITRUM!

Popular personality and remarkable phrases that catches the Filipino market. Companies mostly chose artists with a very big names in entertainment industry to present and promote their products. They believe that their products will be as popular as their chosen celebrity.

No wonder that the Filipino market really wants to try whatever is new and "used" by their favorite actress or actors. Still, there are a lot of consumers who sticks to the quality and not with familiarity.

For instance, is the queen of comedy can eat in an expensive restaurant and can hire a cook will use a P3.00 artificial seasoning?
Is Kris Aquino, a presidential sister, a daughter of Filipino heroes, a multi-millionaire, will feed his precious son Bimbi with a cheap milk?
Is Anne Curtis; a well-known actress, a girl born with beautiful and white skin, a socialite will use a cheap whitening soap?
Is Angelica Panganiban; a high paying actress, who can go in and out of the salon will buy a P5.00 sachet shampoo to have a bouncy hair?
Is Sam Pinto, with a very think body will still need to use slimming products?
There are still wise consumers and hope that it will get even more.
It is fine to use a famous personality to promote the products but it will be the best if they will they look after the its quality.
